Jared Birchall worked in wealth management for Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch before becoming senior vice-president at Morgan Stanley.
In 2016, he was hired by Muskas the managing director of Excession LLC, his family office. He is also a board member at the Musk Foundation.
It was Birchall who was behind Musk’s initial plan to buy Twitter Inc. He put together a complex deal that involved a US$12.5 billion loan.
