\nWhile many are curbing their expenses in the wake of the current economic uncertainty, a British gentleman in Singapore<\/a> is splurging away to glory. The country is currently under partial lockdown with restrictions on the use of public properties. However, that\u2019s no stopper for the English expat who has reportedly spent $7000 to rent a private pool to swim in!

\nOwing to his inability to access the condominium pool, the gent decided to lease the private pool in one of the properties at Sentosa Cove. He was prompted to do so after being informed about a bungalow which was on rent for $21,000 OR SGD30,000\/month at the lush enclave. While the full lease was of no use to him, he struck a deal with the property manager which would allow him access to the private pool and garden for $7000\/month.<\/p>\n

Commenting on it, Lester Chen – a property agent involved in the deal said, \u201cI spoke to the owner and we agreed to lease out the pool and garden on two conditions. First, it will only be a short-term lease of three months. And if someone else wanted to rent the bungalow in its entirety, we can terminate the agreement.\u201d The anonymous British expat and his family can access to the pool and garden through a side gate, with the remaining property locked out. Well, talk about loving a good splash in the waters!<\/p>\n
