Come January and Mr.Trump, along with Melania, will have to exit the White House into a more permanent home for themselves. They did zero on President Trump\u2019s Mar-a-Lago estate, but that\u2019s also caused quite a stir even before the move commenced. The neighbors don\u2019t want him to relocate thereafter; he leaves the White House next month because doing so violates a promise he made not to turn his private club into a permanent residence, it has been claimed. The neighbors, the DeMoss family, want to save the Trumps<\/a> the embarrassment of moving out just as soon as they shift base because of a \u2018use agreement\u2019 he signed back in the 1990s. around a \u2018use agreement\u2019 that Trump signed in the early 1990s, he converted Mar-a-Lago from a private residence into a social club. The DeMoss family attorney has issued a letter to the town of Palm Beach and the US Secret Service requesting them to inform Trump that he would not be allowed to move to Mar-a-Lago full time. Going back in time, Trump bought Mar-a-Lago, a 118-room mansion built in the 1920s, for $7million in 1985. In 1995, he converted the home into a private club. As part of the agreement, members had to pay $100,000 to join. They also paid charges for an annual membership fee of $14,000 and an annual food minimum of $2,000. Mar-a-Lago, a private club, also gave access to its members to dining areas, the on-site spa, a pool, a fitness center, tennis courts, croquet lawns, and privileges at other Trump-owned properties, including golf clubs.

\nAmong all the above-mentioned points, one very important point that now goes against President Trump was the promise never to set up residence at Mar-a-Lago. Trump shares a bad history with the town that he has wrongly crossed several times in the past. He sued the town after they stopped him from subdividing the historic landmark Mar-a-Lago. He didn’t stop there; Trump also sued Palm Beach for $75million claiming the Palm Beach International Airport was causing air and noise pollution. His visits are chaotic as they lead to security-related road closures and traffics specifically after he became the President, and overstayed his welcome at Mar-a-Lago for 130 days instead of the 21-day per year limit that club guests adhere to. It’s obvious why the neighbors weren\u2019t thrilled to learn news of Trump officially changing his legal address from Trump Tower in New York City to Mar-a-Lago. Palm Beach resident Glenn Zeitz, an attorney by trade who is also part of the local resistance to a post-presidency move by Trump to the area, said, \u201cThere\u2019s absolutely no legal theory under which he can use that property as both a residence and a club. Basically, he\u2019s playing a dead hand. He\u2019s not going to intimidate or bluff people because we\u2019re going to be there.\u201d The neighbors clearly don\u2019t believe in mincing their words. Did Trump get trumped?<\/p>\n
