A perfect gift for Geeks, the statue is about 3 ft 6 inches tall. Crouching on a rock with a fish in hand, the statue reaches a height of approx 140 cm and weighs 66 lbs. The 1:1 scale Gollum statue is a prototype that was sculpted out of fiberglass by WETA Workshop sculptors Ben Hawker and Bill Hunt and created by the same artists at WETA Workshop who worked on The Lord of the Rings.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nThis made-to-order Lord of the Ring memorabilia comes with a rather steep price tag of $2,999, which excludes the cost of shipping and taxes, but given the fact that each of these will be handcrafted and painted, the price looks justified. The company plans to make a limited number of pieces in production and can be ordered only on the deposit of $500 in advance.
