\nJames Cameron made the Titanic<\/a> more epic<\/a> than it ever was. And after scores<\/a> of books, movies and memorabilia<\/a> around the ill-fated ship, the ship has a new record breaking keepsake that fetched a staggering \u00a3220,000 ($362,920). The artifact in question is a 33ft plan of the Titanic, which was created to aid the inquiry about its sinking in 1912.<\/p>\n
\nCommissioned by the British Board of Trade, the detailed plan mounted on linen was used to help \u201cwitnesses recall the events of the ship’s fateful maiden voyage\u201d it was estimated to fetch \u00a3150,000 ($247,445).
