Some of us have had tree houses when we were kids right? But they are not just for children anymore. What better place to relax, to get away from the rush of our hectic lives, than in the boughs of a tree? It’s believed that even your psychology changes with height. Actor Val Kilmer too has left his cares on the ground and moved closer to the heavens in the treehouse on the side of his property. Instead of spending his millions on a mansion in the suburbs, he created a 300-square-foot treehouse tucked into a tiny corner of his 6,000 acre New Mexico ranch. Kilmer says, “I lived in New York for 10 years and loved it. But I think once you find out what you really want, it’s important to live where you pray the best, where you’re the healthiest.” Loads of images after the jump……….
Kilmer’s love for nature, particularly trees, has deep roots. His second cousin, Joyce Kilmer, wrote the famous poem “Trees” in 1913. But he says that “I think that I shall never see a poem as lovely as a tree.”
