From perfumes, accessories to even audio devices, Louis Vuitton seem to have stretched its mark of luxury to every little nook and corner of the fashion world. However, if there’s one thing that the brand is still the most trusted for, it has to be bags and luggage. From classic LV monogrammed totes to chic leather handbags, the marquee has given us it all! And in an ode to surprise us yet again, it is all set to present us with novel glow-in-the-dark keepalls, an accessory that is now trending on the internet at lightning speed!
Conceptualized under the creative direction of Virgil Abloh, the new glow-in-the-dark bags form part of the brand’s exquisite Spring/Summer 2019 collection. A fiery accessory of sorts, the keepalls are apparently lit-up with a series of fiber-optic lights that are seamlessly fitted into the bag’s fabric. They were first showcased at the brand’s Paris show that also showcased other pieces from Abloh’s eclectic new collection. The star-studded event was brought to an end with the glowing keepalls being strutted around by black models in the dark.

While there is no official word on the release date of the new fiber-optic glow up bags, LV’s hottest new accessory is expected to hit shelves by the first half of the year. And if sources are to be trusted, it is will retail at a much heavier price tag than its (not so glowy) counterparts. However, given the current internet craze, we’re sure its sales will be just as lit (as it is)!
