Exotic facials, limo pick up, pet butler and more – These 5 destinations will pamper your pets in the most outrageous ways

A blueberry and vanilla facial, outdoor pool and limousine service and pet butler are among the delights for your furry friends

At STYLE, we know a thing or two about 5-star hotel stays and sumptuous spa treatments – and love to treat ourselves and our friends to the best and trendiest hotel, spa and luxury experiences.

Yet what about man’s best friend? Nowadays our favourite four-legged friends are like family.

Check out five of our favourite luxury hotels and pampering experiences for your pets the world over.

Pet Spa, London, UK
Got a special celebration? Pet Spa in London has a luxurious 15-minute treatment which will help your pup get red-carpet ready with a Special Sparkle Treatment.

Choose a shimmer spray (non-permanent and safe for pets) to dazzle your pup’s coat and top it off with a bow tie for boys or a pretty pink ribbon for girls. This Special Sparkle Treatment comes as an add-on to the spa’s Full Body Groom or Wash & Fluff Dry services.

If your pet is particularly fond of sweet treats, they can be treated to a 15-minute blueberry and vanilla facial. Your pooch will be scrubbed and gently exfoliated and also soothed with a relaxing head massage. Top up the massage with a 30-minute aromatherapy bath and body massage which will promote blood circulation, relieve stress and enhance metabolism and lustre of their coat.

Urban Tails Pet Resort, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Trust Dubai to know how to host an extravagant pet-cation location. At Urban Tails, your feline friend and pampered pooch will enjoy 7-star accommodation. Touted as the Burj al Arab for cats and dogs, this luxury pet resort seemingly has it all. Outdoor pool? Check. Puppy playgroups? Yep, and it changes daily so your furry friend can make new friends each day they are there.

There are also speakers playing classical music in communal areas to keep the pets calm, air-conditioning to keep them cool, and individualised plasma televisions in each suite offering pets a sound of their own homes. As if it is not luxe enough, owners can also opt for a special pet limousine service for pet pickup and drop-off. Talk about travelling in style!

For owners who can’t stand to be away from there favourite four-legged friends, there are webcam feeds set up all over the resort, so owners can check in on their furry friends even while sipping margaritas in the Bahamas or skiing off the slopes in the Alps.

The Little Nell, Aspen, Colorado, United States
The Little Nell is a 5-star, 5-diamond hotel offering a ski-in, ski-out access to Aspen Mountain for people and a 5-star service for furry friends accompanying their owners on their ski trip.

Not only does each pooch have its own cosy bed and brass identification tag at The Little Nell, but the hotel goes above and beyond to ensure that each canine is treated just as well as their owners. While humans have specialised concierge services to help them warm their ski boots among other perks, pooches also have their own pet butler, who can take them on walks and dog sit while their owners hit the slopes.

Pet butler aside, the dogs will also be treated to a special doggy menu with epicurean treats and a choice of local ground beef, grilled chicken breast and grilled salmon to go with a healthy helping of brown rice, carrots and scrambled eggs. If needed, you can be supplied with a Puppy Jet Lag kit to help your favourite four-legged friend get used to the altitude.

Mandarin Oriental, Paris, France
Just as we love hotel’s trusty concierges and butlers, your pup will be in good hands at the Mandarin Oriental, Paris with Archie Lewoof in charge. Archie, a Border Terrier, is the vice-president of pet relations at the hotel and will greet your pet with a personalised welcome card from the hotel. Talk about starting off on the right foot.

Throughout the stay, a special Posh Dog gourmet menu for in-room dining or at Camelia restaurant is available, as well as in-room doggy treats.

Food aside, the hotel will also provide a personalised mat embroidered with the dog’s name, plush cushion, stuffed toy animal, bone-shaped biscuits, mineral water and two decorative bowls to their four-legged guests.

Private I Concept Salon, Hong Kong, China
For owners who get separation anxiety when away from their favourite four-legged friends, Private I Concept Salon has solved the issue. Tucked away in the heart of Causeway Bay, in a 8,000 square-foot space, pets and humans are welcome to spend (more!) quality time together while being pampered.

The salon boasts a dog swimming pool, a natural mud spa designed just for dogs, as well as a pet clinic providing wellness and veterinary services meaning the pooches’ physical, mental and all-around heath and wellness can be properly attended to. There is also a handmade Petisserie Bakery on site.
