Well, Beckham has already got himself a mansion in Beverly Hills but if someone else is looking out for a luxurious home in the US then the ‘Most expensive’ in the US is on sale. This Beverly Hills mansion has been advertised for sale at $165m (£81.4m), making it the most expensive residential property listing in the US. The former home of US newspaper tycoon William Randolph Hearst has 29 bedrooms, three swimming pools, tennis courts, its own cinema, and a nightclub. He has decorated the property with statues brought north from his famous Hearst Castle in San Simeon and with lifesize paintings of Davies. Mr. Hearst bought the H-shaped mansion in 1947 for about $120,000.
This 1920s-era pink stucco estate, which is set across 6.5 acres (2.6ha) north of Sunset Boulevard has featured in the film The Godfather. Hearst hosted frequent parties for the famous and powerful there. John F. Kennedy and his bride, Jacqueline, spent part of their honeymoon at the estate in 1953. Beverly House Compound was built in 1927 for the banker, Milton Getz, who sold it to Hearst 20 years later. It has been designed by architect Gordon Kaufmann, the same man who designed the Hoover Dam and the headquarters of the Los Angeles Times.
