Chelsea Clinton purchases New York’s longest apartment for $10 million

While New York City’s real estate prices tend to be among the highest in the world, it does not have a dearth of buyers who pay a premium for the right apartment or mansion. Chelsea Clinton, former U.S. president Bill Clinton, has just purchased what is being touted as New York’s longest apartment. The $10 million apartment stretches from 26th street to 27th street off Madison Avenue, in the city’s heart. In fact, the lengthy apartment is being described as a luxury fortress that requires 30 seconds to walk the 250-foot hallway. The apartment has 4 bedrooms and an area of 5,000 square feet.

The 90-year-old apartment is located in the Whitman building and is marketed by Douglas Elliman Real Estate. The building also has a lu7xury penthouse, which is expected to cost $22.5 million, and Chelsea is one of the two people interested in buying it. Chelsea Clinton and husband Marc Mezvinsky will enjoy six and a half bathrooms, den, 252 square planting terrace, storage unit, and a home office. The apartment certainly shall give all the walking exercise that Chelsea and her husband will ever need in their lives to remain healthy.
