The 34-year-old heavily pregnant star could not attend this year’s star-studded event with boyfriend A$AP Rocky. The world gasped as a marble statue was unveiled, honoring the pregnant superstar in her beautiful, goddess-like pregnant silhouette. The stunning marble statue of the singer was shown in a video shared on Vogue’s Instagram account, which comes after Rihanna graced the cover of this month’s issue. The caption read: ‘The statue of ‘Eirene (The Personification of Peace)’ is usually the highest-profile marble goddess @themetmuseum Greco-Roman galleries. But now we’ve got @badgalriri, straight off this month’s Vogue cover.’
Bad girl Riri is no stranger to leaving long-lasting impressions, but things got truly eternal with this artistic tribute, in the truest sense of the term. The “Diamonds” singer also acknowledged this tremendous honor by reposting the video on her Instagram account. She wrote, ‘Shut down the met in marble! What’s more gilded than that?
