Christopher Bailey’s charisma continues to transcend to toddlers and tweens. Rendering kiddie-size replicas of runway favorites is an iconic British brand, Burberry’s latest Childrenswear edition. Having gained its king-hold on runways and in wardrobes (we’re talking about plush ivory-lined, velvet-laced, button-backed walk-in closets here) alike, Burberry has now upped its kids’ style quotient. Come Autumn/ Winter 2013, Burberry’s latest ‘Mini- Me’ line is set to max out the style in mini- fashionistas.
From corduroy overalls and cutesy baby- sized dresses; to “trench kisses” for girls, outfitted with their latest distinctive heart prints and even hi- top trainers; to outerwear classics from their signature selections for kids, the A/W campaign for children may well put any last- season loathing adult to shame.
Pieces also include a military-style jacket (about $460) and a heart-knit cashmere sweater (about $1120).
