Land Rover collaborates with one of Saville Row’s finest tailors to create a special fabric for celebrating 50 years of Range Rover

Birthdays are always special and when Range Rover turns 50 celebrations are weaved to perfection, quite literally! Prof Gerry McGovern OBE, Land Rover’s Chief Creative Officer, has teamed up with Savile Row tailor Henry Poole & Co to create a special fabric to celebrate 50 years of Range Rover to make 50 bespoke men’s and women’s jackets. Especially for Range Rover’s landmark anniversary,120 m of the lambswool fabric, enough to make 50 bespoke jackets will be made in the exterior paint colors of the original 1970 Range Rover. 50 lucky men and women will look their formal best in the fabric, woven in Somerset by cloth manufacturer Fox Brothers & Co Ltd, in hues like Tuscan Blue, Bahama Gold, and Davos White. The jacket will be tailored to meet each customer’s individual requirements.

Celebrations are not limited to just 50 bespoke jackets! It’s an event that should be celebrated in an unforgettable grand way and that’s exactly what comes next. The same vehicle colors are available for the first time in 35 years on the limited-edition Range Rover Fifty. Limited to 1,970 units globally, it celebrates half a century of pioneering innovation and unparalleled all-terrain capability.
