Largest Louis Vuitton bag will be pulled down in Shanghai

Now you see it…now you don’t! Ok, I am not pulling a Chris Angel on you; I am just talking about an advertising hoarding that went horribly wrong for Louis Vuitton at their Shanghai store. They decided to put up a huge, life-size Louis Vuitton bag that decorated the store’s main facade and hid the renovation that is going on behind. However, the 20 meters high and 4 meters wide monogram canvas style was asked to be demolished. Why, you ask? Shanghai laws believe otherwise as they have directed the structure to be pulled down. Advertisement hoardings in the city cannot exceed the 9-meter length and half meter thickness barrier. Being a hazard to pedestrians who take the sidewalk, the move will happen very soon. Oh well, it sure was soothing to the eyes. Too bad we have to see it go.
