Louis Vuitton unveils monogramed Rugby Ball to commemorate the 2019 Rugby World Cup

LV has made a foray into the world of sports ensembles since quite a while. After unveiling products for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, the marquee is now geared to introduce a special rugby ball for the 2019 Rugby World Cup. Created in association with New Zealand All Blacks legend – Dan Carter, the new sports offering is every bit luxe and a delight for connoisseurs of luxury goods from across the globe.

Designed in a contemporary style, the novel rugby ball from the house of Louis Vuitton takes inspiration from the New Zealand national rugby team’s set. Each piece features LV’s grey Monogram Eclipse canvas and comes with a matching leather carrying apparatus and a display stand embossed with the quintessential LV branding. The product further showcases a smooth black leather make held together by tonal stitching along with a carrying strap signed by Dan Carter himself.

The 112 limited-edition Rugby balls are further accompanied by limited T-shirts for the annual sporting event that is scheduled to kick-off in September at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Chōfu, Tokyo. Pleased by the product, Dan Carter in a statement said, “I am very happy with the results,” He further added, “Seeing this rugby ball for the first time is like a dream come true. From working hard with the design team, choosing materials, colors and final details which all came together perfectly. “The monogrammed Rugby ball by Louis Vuitton will be available for purchase onward September 20.
