Posted over 4 million times this is the most popular handbag on Instagram

Scavenging over Instagram to find the most famous handbags across the globe sounds like something I’d do every other day! Sharing the same kind of love for fashion and taking it up several more notches is Chester Racecourse, that recently worked with a panel of researchers to reveal the most popular handbags in the UK, based on Instagram tags!

Per the study, the bag that topped the charts is the classic Hermes Birkin bag which can safely be tagged as the ‘most Instagrammed bag’ of the lot, for raking in a whopping 4,057,471 pictures in the UK alone. The iconic bag has been favored by celebs across the globe including the likes of Victoria Beckham and Rihanna, who have been spotted carrying the arm-candy around on several red-carpet occasions. While the Birkin comes in a range of colors and options, not one of its versions is light on the pocket, with each setting you back by a minimum of £12,000 ($15,500+ USD).

Speaking of Instagram-worthiness, other bags that made it to the list include the Celine Nano Luggage tote (starting at $2500+ USD), the Balenciaga City bag (starting at $1700 USD), the Fendi Peekaboo satchel (starting at $3050 USD) and the very luxe Givenchy Antigona bag with a starting price of $2187 + USD. The survey also revealed other popular other clothing styles and accessories in the UK, such as heels and sunglasses, based of course on their trending graphs on Instagram.
