The Louis Vuitton Pont 9 is the shoulder bag we have been waiting for

Are you ready for a heavy dose of Parisian chic in your life? If you could use some effortless but expensive cheering up, then Louis Vuitton has just the thing for you. This week just got better even though the entire world didn’t, as a newbie called LV Pont 9 shoulder bag made its debut as Louis Vuitton’s latest addition to its luxurious stable of leather goods. The bag is inspired from Pont Neuf, the oldest, most iconic bridge across river Seine that sits opposite Louis Vuitton’s headquarters in the French capital. The mid-size, lightly padded, calfskin shoulder bag is wonderfully shaped making it a stunning companion for casual or special occasions. Nicolas Ghesquière, the house’s artistic director of women’s collections, brings back the 1930’s iconic logo in the form of this exclusive Louis Vuitton Circle which is seen adorning the flap closure and strap buckle. The LV Pont 9 bag is class-apart with interiors finished in sleek and colourful leather, roomy enough with two internal compartments and pockets. Dedicated LV fans will love the little detail of a magnetic closure inspired by the house’s monogram flower.

The LV Pont 9 bag is slated to release in three colourways, Noir (black), Crème (cream) and Summer Gold. Styles in muted mid-blue and rose-pink leather will join the collection on 26th June. For now we know this gorgeousness is coming our way on 29 May, for $3285.
