Chef Nobu brings his culinary delights to Matsuhisa at Mandarin Oriental Munich, this November


The Mandarin Oriental, Munich is all set to welcome Chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa’s famed ‘Matsuhisa’ brand to Germany in November this year. The new restaurant will be Chef Nobu’s fifth outlet around the world and will serve their renowned ‘New Style Japanese-Peruvian’ cuisine. Guests can expect to see signature dishes including Nobu’s legendary Black Cod and Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi with Jalapeños, Grilled Lamb cooked over Tealeaves and Peruvian Anticucho Sauce, as well as their traditional and popular Sushi.

The new outlet in Munich is being designed by Amsterdam-based FG stijl and will reflect Nobu’s Japanese origins with touches of brown and gold and the use of natural materials including stone, leather and wood.

Matsuhisa, Munich can accommodate 95 guests and offer semi-private dining space for up to 10 people. The restaurant will also feature an eight-seat live cooking counter and complementing the restaurant –The Bar31, a rounded stone bar featuring an oversized champagne cooler as its centerpiece.

Matsuhisa Munich will be open daily from 12.00 to 14.30, and 19.00 to 23.00 while the Bar31 will be open daily from 12.00 to 1.00 (until 2.00 on Fridays and Saturdays).
