Harrods is selling Mānuka honey for $1800 a jar and they are flying off the shelves

Manuka honey is quite a prized possession. Not because of its price but because of its rarity and benefits. Anyone who understands that won’t gasp/drop dead on hearing that it sells for $2700 per 230-gram. Manuka honey is a type of honey native to New Zealand and is a monofloral honey produced from the nectar of the mānuka bush, which only flowers for a couple of weeks each year. Honey lovers in the UK can get excited about wounds healing, sore throats soothing and more benefits as manuka honey makes its debut at Harrods in London. The liquid gold is priced at $2700 per 230-gram jar at the famous store and is rightfully perched next to big brands like Chanel and Versace as its acquaintances. The True Honey Company’s produced a range limited to 1000 jars that have officially been labeled the purest Manuka honey ever. While many would consider giving up honey altogether instead of purchasing manuka honey which is admittedly pricey, a lot of people swear by it and are dedicated fans.

Despite the hefty price tag, orders are flowing in and the limited supply of 1000 jars isn’t expected to last long.”Already there’s been a customer in Harrods that pre-ordered 10 jars of the rare harvest, just a real honey connoisseur,” True Honey Co chief executive Jim McMillan told 1 NEWS.
