In a worlds first Easyjet launches home delivery trolley service which has real crew members offering snacks, drinks and safety routine at your doorstep

There was a time when we traveled the world freely, breathing its air, meeting and greeting people with a firm handshake or a friendly hug. We boarded flights more often than not and paid no attention to the reruns of safety measures that we have seen and ignored umpteen times. Don’t we all dearly miss it all? Some lucky inhabitants of the planet will get to experience in-flight joys right at their doorstep, and that includes the safety routine! Easyjet and Deliveroo together have launched a cabin trolley home delivery service using real crew members. These uniformed cabin crew will be wheeling in actual inflight trolleys to customers’ doorsteps containing free tipples and classic in-flight snacks such as crisps, nuts, and olives. The best part of the deal? You will get to pick from a complimentary drink range that includes a G & T, a Bloody Mary, or a glass of chilled Prosecco, served to you by a fully uniformed easyJet cabin crew. The act of flying and snacking on an airplane is one of the most missed experiences this year, and customers who have stayed home obediently will surely love to get a taste of the airline experience yet again. The service is on a trial basis for now and will be held on December 17 and 18 in London. Customers will be requested to donate to the charity Age UK.

Tina Milton, Director of Cabin Services at easyJet, said: ‘As much as our customers have missed flying in recent months our cabin crew has really missed doing what they love to do best, serving our customers, so this trial gives us a great opportunity to bring easyJet to customers’ doors with our Trolley Delivery service. Johan Lundgren, CEO at EasyJet, said: ‘Through this trial, I’m pleased to see that our crew can deliver a bit of holiday cheer to homes this Christmas.’ as mentioned above, the food and drink service will be available through food delivery service Deliveroo, and will be free of charge to use. Drink to a happy 2021 and donate to make it count.
