The mother of all pepper grinders – Its made by Peugeot, is 43-inches tall and costs more than an iPhone

While there are several ways to grind your spices, using a humongous grinder (read 43-inches long) is hardly one of them. However, proving that ordinary grinding tools are now a passé, we have Peugeot unveiling what looks like a massive-sized pepper mill that is quite an, unlike anything that we may have seen before.

Christened as ‘The Paris Prestige 1987 Iconic Black Pepper Mill’, the larger-than-life pepper mill weighs 16.53 pounds and is capable of holding about 1/3 of a pound of peppercorns. Yes, that’s right! It measures 110cm or 43-inches long and is designed as a rather sleek looking kitchen device.

Peugeot’s eye-popping edition comes in a black lacquered surface and spells sheer class. It further features stainless steel accentuations that make it stand out in style. The device is made in France and promises Peugeot’s tried and tested mechanisms and quality.

Connoisseurs looking for smaller and more ‘handy’ devices can opt for the brand’s standard 12-inch grinders that cost anywhere between $46- $80. The mother of all pepper mills is also available in white for those wary of the classic black edition. Those who have their eyes fixed on the 110cm version can be purchased online on Amazon.com and Décor.com for a cool $1250. Fancy a gigantic pepper grinder for your kitchen yet?
