Luxury bathrooms are a little more than just the luxe fittings and spic and span up-do’s, or at least this is what Villeroy & Boch have to say with their recent take on bathroom décor that will leave you spell-bound and stunned, quite literally! In rendering a sparkling new meaning to bathroom luxury, the German ceramics manufacturer recently introduced a Swarovski studded Octagan pedestal washbasin and a Squaro Prestige bath, that can make you feel like a million bucks even in your birthday suit!
Designed by Steve Leung, the Crystals Editions has been inspired by Shan Shui, a traditional form of Chinese landscape painting featuring mountains, rivers and waterfalls. Each of the Octagon and Squaro Crystals Editions includes a leather clad bath and a basin that is supported by a pedestal which is further emblazoned with over 6000 crystals of 5, 10 and 15 mm sizes. Each of these stunning and hand-finished Xirius Rose crystals are individually applied by hand to both the object d’art tub and the octagonal basin.
Theses shining pieces of art are an outcome of an award-winning design coupled with exclusive craftsmanship and perfect crystal aesthetics. Both, the bath tub and basin are freestanding pieces that hold the charm to brighten up bathrooms of every kind. While there is no information available on their pricing for now, bejeweled bath spaces like these are sure to burn more than only a hole in your pocket!
