From the land of exotic foods, Truffle seems to be gaining the most popularity. It is being hunted down by gourmands and being offered in a variety of different forms by food enthusiasts. And catering to the trend is Casa di Langa, a newly opened hotel in the Piedmont region of Italy.
The 5-star hotel is all set to launch the world’s first-ever hotel truffle concierge as well as a program of truffle-themed culinary experiences. Opening just in time for Italy’s fall white truffle season, the service will allow guests to procure Truffle via some of the country’s most renowned suppliers.
The 39-room hotel will also provide a dedicated chiller for storing guests’ truffles with the utmost care and respect until they are shipped back to their homes. The service will further be available to guests seeking guidance in arranging additional tours and navigating the popular Alba White Truffle Festival taking place October 9 to December 5, 2021.
However, that’s not all! In addition to the all-new truffle concierge service, Casa di Langa will also host a culinary experience to celebrate the return of Piedmont’s truffle season. Called the Truffle Hunting and Dining package, it will invite guests on a tour of the hotel’s 103-acre estate, where a professional will guide them through the ancient art of truffle hunting.
They will further be taken to the hotel’s Sorì Cocktail Bar for a local aperitivo tasting session and a game of bocce – a traditional Italian bowling game. The fun-filled evening will come to an end with them enjoying a three-course menu created by chef Manual Bouchard with several Truffle-infused recipes to savor.
Set next to Le Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for Barolo wine production and peaceful, country-nestled villages, the Casa di Langa is an ideal getaway with Truffle Hunting and Dining packages starting at $236 per person (exclusive of truffle concierge and wine pairing).
Well, a delightful truffle experience is now only a flight away!
