We all have “Instagram Husbands” who get roped into taking pictures of us on good makeup days, flawless outfit days, or (to be honest) just whenever the lighting is good. Now, a savvy hotel in the Maldives is helping guests make the best of their island getaway by introducing Instagram Butlers- whose job it is to take guests to the most photo worthy spots and help them capture off-the-beaten-track photos to immortalize their trip.
The initiative is by the Conrad Maldives Rangali Hotel, whose staff of Insta-Butlers take guests on Insta Trails. The trails are intended to introduce guests to the most photogenic locations that guests might not otherwise find on their own. Examples include Sunset Tip where at dusk guests can capture image of the sun sinking into the ocean; the hotel’s infinity pool; and even the world’s first underwater restaurant.
While the trails are full of photo ops, they are also designed to teach guests more about the local history and culture. “Each experience reflects a local take on culture, food, and adventure…and is designed to give guests a unique perspective of the destination through meaningful and authentic connections,” said the hotel’s team. Whether you wat to be pictured in a precarious yoga pose or stage a snap at the island’s most photographed spot (near a leaning palm tree), the Instagram Butlers are ready to help make your vacation Insta perfect!
