Wellness and wellbeing is everyone’s top priority today. Everything in our days, routines revolves around the concept of wellness. Right from the minute, we wake up, what we put in our bodies to our fitness regimes it’s all aimed at one goal. But how many of us can keep this routine intact when we need a break from work? One such place where your health is of paramount importance is Asaya, a spectacular urban wellness retreat in Hong Kong. This place is sprawling on the 6th and 7th floors of Rosewood Hong Kong in Tsim Sha Tsui’s Victoria Dockside and occupies 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space. That’s two floors full of amazing health activities like an avant-garde fitness centre, harbour studio, infinity pool, and glasshouse. In addition to these are the fabulous aroma, tonic, and beauty ateliers. Beyond the Ateliers lies the Tranquility Lounge, Urban Sanctuary Suites, and Bath Houses with laconiums inspired by ancient Roman bathing temples and water rituals. At Asaya they have based their work on five pillars like emotional balance, fitness and nutrition, physical therapies, skin health and community. In order to achieve this effectively treatments are carried out in seven private urban sanctuary suites, each with a heated marble bathhouse, soaking tub and sensory rain shower leading to a private garden for pre- and post-treatment relaxation.
Now let’s see what the ateliers have going on inside. In the tonic atelier, salts, clays, and muds are blended with fresh herbs to create bespoke scrubs for guests for their personalized bathing rituals. The aroma atelier houses aromatherapists consulting guests and referring them to aromatherapy-guided solutions to create personalized concoctions using oils from the English vegan skincare brand Votary and Maison Caulières. Beauty Atelier retails brands including Votary, US skincare brands Sunday Riley and OA and EviDenS de Beauté. It takes care of all things beauty-related and also featured is 3-D Skin Analysis technology to provide insight into guests’ skin structure, the effects of ageing and sun damage. At Asaya, wellness is served to your ala carte. If you have been ignoring your health and don’t know where to begin maybe Asaya can be of great help to you.
