The Internet is loving this stunning ‘Stairway to heaven’ infinity pool in the Swiss Alps

A few days back I came across this video and shut it out because it wasn’t too clear. Well, looks like I was none the wiser, as opposed to millions who earned this viral video some 1.5 million views! Hotel Villa Honegg has probably had the best advertising it could ever have hoped for with this video posted by travel blogger Loucos Por Viagem, featuring a woman stepping into a pool that has easily made it to half the social world’s bucket lists. The video is entitled Stairway to Heaven to bring home the message that it is indeed a sight like few others in the world. It gives stunning views of the Alpine mountains, the valley below, and the Lucerne lake. People have been on and on about how beautiful it looks, while there are some (like me I admit) who felt the video was mysterious and even creepy. The pool is open all day and is heated at 34 degrees.

The hotel was built in 1905 and has 23 rooms. It has a private cinema, sauna, steam room, terrace, and gym too. Prices for a room starts at $586 per night.
