The $470,000 gold ring sports real human skin and hair

Crossing the line between creativity and insanity is Sruli Recht‘s ‘Forget Me Knot’ ring, which boasts of a small strip of Recht’s actual skin mounted on the exterior. The designer had 4 inches by 0.4-inch piece of skin sliced off from his abdomen, after which it was tanned and then mounted to cover the 24-karat gold band with all his tummy hairs intact. What’s more, the ring will be sold with a DNA certificate and a DVD that documents the entire process.

Sruli Recht‘s ‘Forget Me Knot’ ring is unique in all ways, including pricing as it comes for a staggering $470,000! Wonder who would shell out so much money to own a piece of the designer’s skin? Not me, for sure!
