elit by Stolichnaya launches the Himalayan Edition vodka

The first thing that comes to mind when you think of Russia is Vodka, racist as it might be, Russia is known to produce some of the highest quality Vodkas in the world. At the forefront of high-quality Russian Vodka is Stolichnaya, which started in 1901. Their latest endeavor continues this legacy with their elite series; the first vodka in this series is titled The Himalayan Edition. This exclusive Vodka is limited to a mere 300 bottles and sets a precedent by which all other Vodkas will be compared. The ingredients that go into creating the Himalayan Edition make it special; it contains water from the Langtang National Park in the Himalayas, which is then combined with winter wheat from the Tambov region Russia. Both of these sources are said to be extremely pure sources and are truly an example of nature at her best. The elite pristine water series is 40% ABV (80 proof) and has a crystal clear, slightly viscous appearance.

Bottled in handcrafted Bohemian glass and sealed with a bar of gold plated decorative ice pick. Each of these unique bottles comes in a numbered hand-carved walnut chest and retails for $3000. If water sourced from where the earth meets the skies is just the beginning of Stolichnaya’s elite collection, then I can’t wait to see what the company has in store for the rest of this exclusive collection.
