Elon Musk does it again, launches $1500 surfboard that sells out in seconds

The last couple of months have been very challenging for Elon Musk thanks to Tesla’s deepening financial troubles and his own Twitter antics which have been poorly received, but he continues to fight on defying all odds. Despite all the bad press in the recent times, he knows how to keep the buzz alive around his companies. After the outrageous Boring Company-branded flame thrower, Elon has come up with another interesting merchandise to promote his company. Meet the $1500 surfboard with a Tesla logo on it. It has been designed by Tesla’s design studio in collaboration with Lost Surfboards and Matt “Mayhem” Biolos.

The description on the product page claims that the surfboard shares the same finish as the company’s cars and it sports a top that’s been reinforced with carbon fiber. It also says that the company’s “Model S, X and 3 can comfortably accommodate this surfboard on either the inside or outside of the vehicle.” However, only 200 of these Tesla surfboards were made available and all of them were sold in no time. But if you’re still interested in buying one, some of them have been already listed on eBay with an asking price of anywhere from $2,000-$5,000.
