Who is Nicole Pollard?

Nicole Pollard, a sought-after $600-an-hour stylist based in Santa Monica, is the CEO and Founder of LaLaLuxe and Bikini Cleanse, and co-founder of Closet et Cie. Pollard changed her profession from being a preschool secretary to styling world leaders, Forbes top ten list members, Silicon Valley CEOs, and titans of philanthropy, art, and industry. She has an uncanny ability to understand her high-profile clients’ desires even before they do. “These clients are obviously very busy, so I pick any time I can get with them,” Pollard explained.

Cannes.

“Sometimes it’s in their closet in July while they’re prepping for a summer trip to Cannes. I’ve worked with many clients for years, so I know who the gift recipients will be. I often collaborate with their estate managers or personal assistants to perfect the list. I’ve even boarded a private jet in Paris just to finalize a shopping list before a client’s landing in Washington, D.C.—even though I needed to go to L.A. I’ll do whatever it takes to get that time with a client.”

What can she do for the elite?

When dealing with clients who effortlessly spend seven figures on seasonal wardrobes, Pollard’s expertise shines. From turning Christmas lists into sparkling realities and attending global fashion shows to procuring custom designer goods and arranging glamorous getaways, Pollard handles it all.

Her clientele’s requests can be extravagant; she once secured a $432,000 Himalayan Hermès Birkin bag with diamond-studded hardware worth $750,000 just days before Christmas. Her international network of Birkin dealers makes such feats possible. The Sun reported that this exclusive purchase was treated like royalty, complete with its own security detail. The mother-of-two also recounted a particularly challenging task: getting a Chanel store to open on New Year’s Day for a queen. “It’s rare for a major brand to open on a holiday,” Pollard noted, “and it involves extensive security and planning.”

Money Can Buy Happiness-

For those who doubt that money can buy happiness, a glimpse into Pollard’s world might change their minds. She has overseen $1 million wardrobes and even bought every runway look from a designer show. One client requested a personalized luggage set, with one suitcase alone costing $10,000. Pollard also shared that Goyard luggage sets are a favorite among celebrities. Although shopping is straightforward, finding rare items can be a challenge even for a seasoned stylist who might charge a percentage of the bill. “I don’t usually get gift budgets. Wealthier clients care more about the gift’s impact than its cost,” she explains. “For something as specific as a first-edition book signed by Abraham Lincoln, there might be no budget limit. However, if they’re buying gifts for assistants, they might set a budget like $1,000.”

Pollard’s expertise extends beyond fashion and jewelry., and by her own admission she is dubbed the ‘dream life architect.’ She provides creative consulting for superyachts, Gulfstream private jets, and sprawling palatial homes. “Everything matters—lighting, texture, personalization, scent,” she says. Pollard orchestrates opulent first birthday parties with six-figure budgets, directs lifestyles, and crafts personal brands. After 16 years in the business, she has made a significant impact in Los Angeles and beyond. Her Paris trips for clients—four times a year—begin with Air France business class comfort, and her experiences include flower deliveries, dining at Monsieur Bleu, shopping on Avenue Montaigne, and receiving gifts and handwritten notes from designers courtesy of Dior’s client-relations division. There’s certainly pleasure in serving the wealthy!
