"In the wake of this national tragedy, the Arnault family and the LVMH Group pledge their support for #NotreDame. They will donate a total of 200 million euros to the fund for reconstruction of this architectural work, which is an integral part of the history of France." _ #notredame #paris #lvmh
Bernard Arnault and his LVMH family have pledged €200 million while the Pinault family who owns the Kering luxury good company has pledged €100 million. The funds will be used to rebuild the spire and the roof of the medieval cathedral which were completely destroyed in a fire that raged on for more than 15 years. We do hope that Notre Dame will rise from the ashes and be restored to its former glory in no time.
