Britain’s most expensive home is up for £300 million

Surpassing the previous record of $226 million, a 45-bedroom palace overlooking the famous Hyde Park has been priced at more than double the cost at £300 million (about $487 million). The seven-story home that is as large as a soccer field was once the late Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri’s home. It is the biggest home in London and was originally built as four separate homes. The luxurious home contains a swimming pool, industrial kitchen, and several elevators. A very rare property considering its size and location, the house had to be priced at such a high premium rate according to property consultants; it will be long before such a place comes to market again.
