In the series of gorgeous homes, we have this luxe Bel Air residence that was recently bought by Tinder co-founder Sean Rad. It belonged to the late and long-retired Hollywood actress Yvette Mimieux and was purchased by Rad for a whopping $35 million! Situated on an island in Bel-Air, the property features two separate, but side-by-side homes on two parcels with two different addresses. The larger house was built in 1928 by architect Mark Daniels. It is rightly christened “Il Sogno” — Italian for “the dream” and is essentially styled as a Tuscan villa-style mansion with 10,600 square feet of interior space.

The home was later revamped in 1979 by famed interior designer Kalef Alaton. As of now, it includes hand-painted ceilings, skylights, antique plaster walls, stone-carved fireplaces, and crystal chandeliers along with a sky-lit library, custom brick wine cellar, and a fairytale-style primary suite under a dome.

The deal was closed by Linda May of Hilton & Hyland, Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency, and Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker Realty, while Mary Fitzgerald and Jason Oppenheim of the Oppenheim Group represented Rad.
