If rumors are to be believed, Bugatti is building a one-off Longtail Chiron that costs over $18 million and is being prepared for an official unveil at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. But we expect the news to be more of a fact than fiction because it came from none other than famous supercar collector Kris Singh, who took to Instagram to break the news on this bespoke Chiron shrouded in complete secrecy until now. The US-based collector also spilled the beans on the person for whom this ultimate Bugatti Chiron is being prepared, and it is none other than Dr. Ferdinand Piëch, grandson of Ferdinand Porsche and former chairman of the Volkswagen Group. Here’s what he wrote on his Instagram post: “The Chiron is a stunning machine and it will be fun to see this [the 110 Ans edition] alongside the Divo and the top secret 16 million euro Bugatti one-off that was made exclusively for Dr Piech that will be unveiled at the 2019 Geneva International Motor Show exactly one month from today!”
Kris Singh’s Instagram post is the only piece of information publically available on the one-off Bugatti Chiron Longtail; which means only a select few involved with the project known the details, including how different it looks in comparison to the standard model. However, it didn’t stop digital artists from coming up with renderings of this mysterious Bugatti. The work of an artist by the name of E. Milano is the best one we could find on the internet. The bespoke Chiron Longtail will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show along with the recently-unveiled Chiron Sport ‘110 ans Bugatti’ and the track-focused Bugatti Divo. We can’t wait to see how the $18 million Chiron Longtail turns out to be.
