A line of 85-metre Rolls-Royce designed superyachts on the horizon

Mercedes already has it, and now it’s the turn of another auto giant to enter the boat scene. I’m talking about the “NVC 85 Y” for which Atlantic Yachts has picked Rolls-Royce Marine to design and engineer the superyacht. The main leverage will be to reduce fuel consumption and reduce environmental impact. The basis of the yacht is the hydro-dynamically efficient hull from Rolls-Royce. It not only promises high performance, but is also completely safe and reliable. The company brings with itself 30-odds years of experience.

The Joe Killian’s Killian Yacht & Ship Brokers have been chosen to broker for the new line of yachts. Atlantic’s founder, Paul Madden, states, “The German built version of the NVC 85 Y is all about design, technology, safety at sea, and comfort. Rolls-Royce Marine’s design team in Norway has worked diligently with us to create a yachting platform without equal.”
