British marquee Aston Martin has quietly unveiled a one-off DB9 Volante created by their Q customization division. Dubbed the DB9 Volante Morning Frost by Q, the special edition has been commissioned by Aston Martin Dallas. The name for the bespoke model comes from its special Morning Frost white exterior paintjob. The white hue is contrasted with blue satin carbon fiber accents and a blue soft top. Mesh grille inserts and “tuning fork” 10-spoke alloy wheels complete the special touches on the outside. The two-tone styling continues in the cabin with the Pearl White and Spectral Blue leather seats. There are also Spectral Blue leather air vents and Cobalt Blue gradated fascia trim.
Under the DB9 Volante Morning Frost’s hood sits Aston Martin’s 5.9-litre V12 that produces 510bhp (380 kW) and 620Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. The engine provides enough power to shoot the convertible DB9 from 0-100kmh in just 4.6 seconds, with the ability to run onto a top speed of 294km/h. Hooked up to the big V12 engine is a six-speed automatic transmission that features paddle shifters for a more involving drive. There is no word on the price.
