A Feadship beauty that doesn’t look like a Feadship beauty? That’s precisely where the charm begins with the 263-foot Thalassa superyacht. The secretive, headline-making yacht has been launched from the NMC hull fabrication shipyard in Bolnes, the Netherlands, in preparation for outfitting at Feadship’s Kaag facility. The cat is out of the bag, and yachting enthusiasts surely weren’t prepared for this ravishing revelation.
Formerly known as Project 826 and named after a Greek goddess of the sea, Thalassa captivates with its sinuous silhouette. Geared for a 2026 delivery, the luxury motor yacht is already known for featuring one of the most “extraordinary beach clubs.” This space, the largest ever built by the renowned shipyard, spans an impressive 165 square meters (1,776 square feet). The design is enhanced by Milanese studio M2Atelier, while the yacht’s striking exterior is the creation of Malcolm McKeon.
The vessel boasts several elegant lounging areas and inviting alfresco dining spaces. Around the swimming pool, ample comfortable seating has been thoughtfully provided. Below, on the expansive beach deck beneath the pool, owners and guests can revel equally in nature and luxury. This sanctuary of solace is particularly enticing thanks to two pairs of suspended hanging egg chairs, perfectly positioned to enjoy the cool sea breeze and stunning ocean views.
Moreover, a floating staircase from the aft deck leads down to a canopied, sunken lounge area, perfect for intimate conversations. The seamless transition between interiors and exteriors is achieved through expansive glass doors, ensuring the yacht maintains an airy and refreshing ambiance even when indoors. Sleek, minimalist furnishings in a sophisticated white palette further complement spaces designed ideally for sunbathing and dining alfresco across all decks.
Thalassa comfortably accommodates up to 12 guests across six luxurious staterooms, attended by a crew of 15. The yacht is powered by twin MTU engines, delivering a cruising speed of 14 knots and reaching a top speed of 16 knots.
