Luxury yachting has reached new heights with the installation of CineSea on the 344-foot superyacht H3, a state-of-the-art outdoor entertainment solution developed by Dutch company Seable&Co. Designed to redefine leisure on the high seas, CineSea transforms the yacht’s deck into an immersive cinematic experience with cutting-edge technology and seamless versatility.
At the heart of CineSea is a massive 158-inch IP65 LED screen mounted on a robust hydraulic mechanism, allowing it to pivot smoothly, much like closing a laptop. This innovative design ensures durability and convenience while optimizing outdoor space. When not in use as a cinema, the screen cleverly converts into a sunbed, fitness platform, or a versatile area for activities such as dancing or yoga. By integrating advanced audiovisual technology with elegant design, Seable&Co has set a new standard for onboard entertainment.
CineSea offers a comprehensive entertainment package, including surrounding furniture, premium audio speakers, and plush cushions, creating an all-in-one relaxation and entertainment hub. Manufactured in the Netherlands, this high-performance LED system ensures minimal glare and crystal-clear resolution in all lighting conditions. Moreover, the system seamlessly connects to gaming devices and allows effortless streaming via the yacht’s onboard systems, ensuring a futuristic entertainment experience at sea.
Developed in collaboration with audiovisual specialist Paul Thames, CineSea integrates effortlessly with any yacht’s AV setup. To keep up with evolving technology, Seable&Co provides customization options, allowing owners to select the latest panel technology at delivery and upgrade their systems in the future. This personalization aspect ensures that each CineSea installation is tailor-made to suit the owner’s needs, adding a touch of exclusivity to an already impressive superyacht.
Despite the groundbreaking technology and luxury features introduced during the extensive refit, the H3 superyacht remains unsold two years after being listed at €295 million ($320 million), making it currently the most expensive superyacht on sale.
Originally built in 2000 for the Prime Minister of Qatar, the vessel underwent a transformation like no other, stripping down to the hull and rebuilding it with an entirely new superstructure, redesigned interiors by Reymond Langton Design, and lavish amenities. From a climate-controlled winter garden to an interactive video wall and a 23-foot infinity pool, H3 is a floating palace designed for indulgence.
However, even with its stunning features, the yacht remains docked in Alblasserdam, awaiting a buyer. The niche market for superyachts, economic fluctuations, and the high cost of ownership all contribute to its prolonged time on the market. While CineSea and the yacht’s other premium enhancements offer unparalleled luxury, potential buyers often seek bespoke designs that align with their personal tastes, making pre-refitted yachts a harder sell.
For now, the H3 remains an exquisite example of how luxury yachting continues to push boundaries, with cutting-edge entertainment systems like CineSea leading the way. Whether at sea or anchored in a marina, the superyacht promises an unmatched level of comfort, technology, and sophistication—waiting for the right owner to set sail into ultimate opulence.
