Heesen’s Project Monte Carlo, one of their grandest creations, is a hybrid-powered marvel built for the future and packed with extraordinary luxuries. From a lavish pool and a state-of-the-art wellness center to an outdoor theater under the stars, this four-deck masterpiece redefines opulence on the open sea.

Heesen is going bigger than ever, and we’re thrilled to witness the grandeur of their daring new 62-meter Steel FDHF superyacht, christened Project Monte Carlo, at the Monaco Yacht Show. While it rivals the stature of Galactica Star, originally owned by Nigerian trader Kola Aluko, and mirrors the luxuries found aboard Man of Steel, it doesn’t quite surpass Galactica Super Nova, owned by entrepreneur Alshair Fiyaz, which remains Heesen’s largest vessel at 230 feet. However, the Harrison Eidsgaard-designed yacht reveals an enchanting world of its own, captivating with its innovative features and timeless elegance. Characterized by an expansive waterfront beach club that boasts a stunning 23-square-meter pool, Project Monte Carlo introduces an intriguing accommodation layout. Although designed with a minimalist profile, the sleek glass lines and bustling aft deck ensure this superyacht is anything but simple.

Standing as a sanctuary of holistic living across four decks (a feature previously exclusive to Galactica Super Nova), this 203-foot marvel caters to the growing demand for large motor yachts that serve as both luxurious homes and sophisticated offices, equipped with a myriad of amenities.

Niels Vaessen, Heesen’s CEO, remarked, “It is unusual for us to build a four-decker, but we have had several requests for such a boat from previous clients, so it made sense to create one. We are addressing a key market of owners seeking to maximize space and experience onboard, to share with family and friends.” Like its namesake, Monte Carlo, a glamorous, opulent city-state on the French Riviera, the superyacht exudes extravagance and sophistication. The entire upper deck is dedicated to the owner, featuring a lavish primary suite with an expansive en suite and a connected office.

For added luxury, the owner can opt for a private foredeck with its own sundeck, jacuzzi, and a fold-down balcony to starboard. The guest accommodations are equally luxurious, spread across the main and lower decks with five lavish VIP cabins that can host 10 guests. Project Monte Carlo is designed for enjoying life to the fullest, offering ample deck space, alfresco dining options, and a wellness area complete with a gym, sauna, hammam, and massage or beauty room. With so much space and comfort, you’ll never want to leave.

This luxury vessel also comes equipped with a vast array of water toys and unique experiences, including a firepit observation lounge, an outdoor kitchen, and a semi-open sky lounge with a pop-up TV for movie nights. Powered by a hybrid propulsion system with a large battery bank, Project Monte Carlo has an estimated cruising speed of 12 knots and a top speed of 16 knots. It is also designed with the future in mind, featuring a methanol-ready tank layout for future conversion to hydrogen combustion or even a fuel cell, ensuring it stays ahead of environmental demands.
