YouTuber and Kick streamer Jack Doherty has been grabbing headlines for crashing his 2024 McLaren 570S in Miami last Saturday. The 20-year-old was live-streaming on Kick when the accident occurred, which captured the moment he lost control of the $300,000 sports car.

The video clearly shows Doherty distracted while driving his McLaren in the rain, eventually hydroplaning and crashing into the guardrail. His Kick account was taken down after the incident. “Kick does not condone illegal activity, which is why we swiftly took action and moved to ban this creator from the platform,” the streaming platform told TMZ.

According to reports, Doherty had an audience of 185,000 when the crash occurred. Doherty also drew flak on the internet about his reaction immediately after the crash. The influencer somehow managed to keep the video rolling during the accident. He chose to film the aftermath, clearly to capture footage for social media, instead of checking on his cameraman, Michael, who can be seen struggling inside the cabin with blood pouring out of his forehead after the crash.

Thankfully, both of them only had minor injuries. However, the McLaren is totaled. Doherty purchased the sports car at the end of last year and had it wrapped in a dayglo paintball gun splatter scheme. The McLaren was also fitted with a custom exhaust. What a shame!
