Someone said, “You can tell a lot about a man by his shoes.” However, we believe the more apt version is, “You can tell everything about a man by the yacht he sails.” Amazon founder Jeff Bezos is a tycoon worth $245 billion. That’s simply a number until one gets a good look at his superyacht Koru. The $500 million megayacht is the world’s largest, colossal enough to eclipse even a sunset. This was experienced firsthand by people on the picturesque coast of Cala Pi, in Mallorca, according to the Majorca Daily Bulletin. The sighting of the 416-foot-long Oceanco yacht, along with $75 million Abeona, the support vessel, generated significant attention from both yacht enthusiasts and tourists.

This also means that Mallorca regularly welcomes some of the world’s most extraordinary yachts. Still, Bezos’s majestic sailing yacht, crowned with a towering wooden figurehead of a Roman goddess, captivated onlookers with its sheer grandeur and larger-than-life presence. It wouldn’t be wrong to say it is the largest boat witnessed in Mallorca.

The Koru megayacht was built by Oceanco in the Netherlands and delivered in 2023. Its size is imposing owing to the presence of three towering masts standing 230 feet tall. While the features and amenities of Koru have largely been kept under wraps, it is believed the mammoth includes three jacuzzis and one swimming pool. Shadow vessel Abeona, on the other hand, trails the mothership with a helipad and an arsenal of toys and tenders for adventurous fun on the remotest corners of the planet. The dynamic duo is still cruising along the coast of Cala Pi, according to MarineTraffic.
