Lamborghini Aventador Coupe joins the UAE Ministry of Interior fleet

If there’s one country in the world where cops have a rockstar image, it has to be the UAE. The Dubai police department is famous for its massive fleet of supercars, which includes the likes of Bugatti Veyron, Aston Martin One-77, BMW i8 and many more. Now, the country’s Ministry of Interior has added a Lamborghini Aventador to its big fleet of luxury cars. Lamborghini’s official dealers in the UAE, Al Jaziri Motors partnered with the Ministry of Interior to provide it with the half a million dollar Aventador Coupe, which has been decked out in the official Abu Dhabi Police Department livery.

The Lamborghini supercar will soon tour all seven emirates as a part of a promotional campaign to introduce the car to the people of the country and help in the image building process for the force. The ministry’s official Instagram account released a video of the Lambo police car to announce its addition to the force. What’s interesting is that Dubai Police already has a Lamborghini Aventador in its fleet of luxury patrol cars. The police department also registered its name in the Guinness World Record last year for having the fastest police car in the world, the Bugatti Veyron.
