The Overmarine Group has revealed the Mangusta 165 REV superyacht, the 50m flagship of the Maxi Open REV series. This 165-footer beauty was inspired by the vintage rides of the 1930s and is designed by Igor Lobanov in collaboration with the Italian yard’s engineering department. The 1930s sporty car vibe reflects in the vessel’s aggressive profile featuring the rounded, curved shapes typical of Mangusta’s iconic style. This design inspiration also lends the yacht one of its coolest features- the beach area. The aft door opens like the roof of a convertible sporty car, revealing a magnificent 36 sq m, fully-equipped lounge area on the sea. Milan-based architecture firm M2 Atelier has styled the interior. It features contemporary furnishings, a lot of natural light owing to the salon’s floor-to-ceiling windows, and a sophisticated atmosphere. The main salon is also home to several cozy corners like a sofa lounging area, a dining area, and a bar owing to its openness.
If this has you impressed, then gear up for even more brilliance as the capacious master suite located on the main deck is grander. It is a real open-space loft on two levels. Its core element is the elongated side windows and ensuring maximum privacy to the owner, who also has a lounge area, a personal office, and a full-beam bathroom. The designers have dedicated the lower deck for guests. There is ample guest accommodation completely customizable with up to five cabins or four cabins and a VIP cabin or converts one room to a media and lounge area or a gym.
The deck area is provided with an infinity pool and sunbathing space, and there is space provided for a side garage that can hold a tender and two jet skis.
