Mercedes-Benz announces the pricing of the 2016 GLE450 AMG Coupe and AMG GLE63 S Coupe

Mercedes-Benz surely has no plans to lay low and has grabbed the attention of automobile enthusiasts yet again with the announcement of the pricing of the 2016 GLE Coupe. Like its predecessor, this one too is an SUV-coupe-crossover, but will pack a slightly meaner edge this time around. The car will be made available only in two AMG-versions, the GLE450 AMG Coupe and the more boisterous AMG GLE63 S. under the GLE450 AMG Coupe’s hood rests a 362-hp, twin-turbocharged, 3.0-liter V-6, ready to take this one across the roughest terrains. AMG GLE63 S Coupe on the other hand gets an upgraded 577-hp, twin-turbocharged, 5.5-liter V-8, that promises to let you run wild and free.

Given the fact that Mercedes-Benz loves to put power where the wheels are, both these cars come standard with all-wheel drive. Besides the engines, the price tag also sets the GLE450 AMG Coupe and the AMG GLE63 S Coupe quite a distance apart. While the former is priced at $66,025 upwards, the latter costs $110,225 upwards. These cars may lack the extra trunk space offered by the regular GLE, but then again, power comes at a price and these GLE AMG Coupe’s aren’t shy of showing off some muscle.
