Mercedes ups the ante for luxury with the S-Class Executive editions

Mercedes-Benz’s top-of-the-line S-Class Coupe and Cabriolet are already quite exclusive and opulent, but the German automaker has decided to up the lavishness with the launch of two new Exclusive Editions at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. In addition to the “Exclusive Edition” badging throughout to set it apart from the standard models, the special variants come with a choice of two unique pain finishes, aragonite silver or rubellite red, and the soft top on the cabriolet available in dark red or beige, depending on the paint finish. The most noteworthy feature, however, is the LED Intelligent Light System which is encrusted with Swarovski crystals. A new set of 19-inch twin-spoke alloy wheels unique to the exclusive models complete the special treatments on the outside.

The cabin features high-gloss, light brown Asian hardwood trim and an “Exclusive” interior package, which includes Designo nappa leather seats in Porcelain and Titian Red or Porcelain and Espresso Brown. It also gets a Burmester surround-sound system, diamond-shaped perforated seat upholstery, microfiber roof liner and sun visors and door sills with illuminated “Mercedes-Benz” lettering. The Exclusive Edition S-Class cars will be available for sale at the beginning of April. The pricing is yet to be announced.
