Its predecessor was so quiet that occupants testing it became disoriented by the eerie silence. The Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II is here, and it offers an even smoother and quieter ride.

Three years after Rolls-Royce introduced the second-generation Ghost, the British luxury automaker has given its entry-level sedan a mid-life refresh. The 2025 Ghost Series II arrives with subtle, evolutionary design tweaks and a host of technology updates. You might remember that the second-generation Ghost debuted in 2021 as a new vehicle with brand-new architecture and plenty of novelties. Everything from its unmatched soundproofing to the highly complex suspension design, the luxury sedan was launched with segment-leading features. Rolls-Royce has retained all of them while giving the Series II some necessary updates.

Starting with the design, Rolls-Royce has tweaked the styling of the front end, making it simpler than before. Putting the focus on the illuminated Pantheon grille and the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament, the automaker has added new headlights that are slimmer and a lot sharper than the ones on the outgoing model.

The design of the front bumper has been altered to match the simpler, more squared-out design. The rear gets new Spectre-inspired taillights, while Rolls-Royce has added two new 22-inch, nine-spoke wheel options to the catalog. The example seen here in the pictures features a new bespoke color Mustique Blue.

As far as the interior goes, the cabin layout is pretty much unchanged. However, most of the updates can be found inside the cabin. Rolls-Royce has added a new pillar-to-pillar glass panel that houses an updated infotainment system and digital cluster. The “Illuminated Fascia” on the passenger’s side has been redesigned to emulate “time-lapse celestial photography.”

The buyers will get the option to customize the cluster in a color matched to the exterior. The Ghost Series II also gets a new clock cabinet that houses both an analog clock and an illuminated stainless-steel Spirit of Ecstasy ornament.

Rear passengers will benefit from a new entertainment interface with improved screens. They can now stream up to two devices to each rear screen. The Wi-Fi hotspot has also been upgraded, while the 18-speaker sound system has been improved with a new 1400-watt amplifier. Another highlight is a new “Duality Twill” textile made from bamboo. Rolls-Royce claims it took a year to develop.

It incorporates 11 miles of thread, resulting in 2.2 million stitches. The revolutionary Planar suspension and the 563hp twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V12 remain unchanged. The extended long-wheelbase model also returns for 2025. The pricing has not been revealed, but we expect it to be close to $400,000.
