Not that he needs one more yacht, but this 139-foot wellness-focused superyacht is just perfect for Mark Zuckerberg. A first of its kind, the yacht has an outdoor gym, a dual-temperature plunge pool, a spa, an infrared therapy wall, a pickleball court, and more

Gone are the days when superyachts were simply tools for hosting dignitaries and flaunting status. Today, they embody an entire lifestyle, as exemplified by Dutch Design’s 139-foot concept, Sea Rover. Touted as “the world’s only wellness-first superyacht,” this vessel focuses on holistic living, even while at sea, offering exactly what the doctor ordered for those spending weeks or months on the water. After all, waiting to return to shore to focus on health is no longer an option, according to superyacht owner Scott Blum and Dutch designer Bernd Weel, creators of the concept.

While gyms are now common on luxury yachts, Sea Rover distinguishes itself with an impressive range of wellness options. Accommodations include five guest cabins and a lavish, full-beam owner’s suite featuring a massive walk-in closet, a Japanese onsen-style tub, and a steam room. The yacht’s spa is a haven of serenity, equipped with a dual-temperature plunge pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, infrared therapy wall, and a dedicated massage area.

The gym is equally remarkable, and the multipurpose sports court on the bridge deck adds an exciting dimension. Whether it’s pickleball, basketball, paddle tennis, volleyball, or outdoor workouts, this space is as versatile as it is practical. When not in use, it doubles as storage for large water toys, tenders, and even a car. The Sea Rover also boasts a stunning beach club complete with a dining table, sunbeds, a wet bar, and ample storage.

The design details, abundant wood and subtle accents, lend the yacht a breezy, Californian vibe. “Sea Rover is for an owner who wakes up, jumps into the water, works out, goes diving, and uses all the toys,” explained Blum. “It integrates travel with total well-being, something that’s never been done before on a boat. For owners, this is a tremendous investment that will hold its value over time.”

Adding to the focus on wellness, the main saloon seamlessly blends the galley and dining areas, encouraging interaction between the chef, crew, and guests. Love your salad a certain way? You can request it on the spot. Every Sea Rover yacht is semi-customizable, with prospective owners invited to Dutch Design’s Amsterdam headquarters to personalize finishes and colors. The concept offers a perfect harmony of staying in shape and indulging in luxury, ensuring you live your best life at sea.
