Usher, an international pop star and a self-proclaimed Mercedes Benz fan, was the first to drive the upcoming A45 AMG before its debut at the Geneva auto show. Apart from taking the high-performance hatchback for a spin, he also builds an engine for his own SLS AMG. He said, “I can hardly wait to get behind the wheel” of the A45 AMG because it’s “so absolutely cool and sexy.” Usher will continue to talk about his experience on Facebook.
The Mercedes Benz A 45 AMG will be powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which generates 360 HP (265 kW) and 450 Nm (332 lb-ft) of torque which is connected to a 7-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT dual-clutch transmission. The All-wheel drive accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in under 4.6 seconds. The A 45 AMG has an electronically limited top speed of 155 MPH.
