Dubai adds a floating swimming pool to its ridiculous roster of innovations

With the sweltering heat being a mere memory of summers past, we’re uber excited that Palm Jumeirah’s Club Vista Mare will now feature a swimming pool floating in the sea nearby. Given Dubai’s history with designing and conceptualizing the most bizarre structures, this does not surprise us.

Rumoured to be the first of its kind in the region, the Breeze Beach Bar & Grill is all set to host a brand-new swimming pool deemed to open in the end of September.

Nestled at the far end of the strip of restaurants and bars at Club Vista Mare, Breeze has a lovely, chilled-out vibe! The pool though is my favourite! When you walk by the pool, you’ll discover an astro-turf decking, surrounding a 20-meter long, 10-meter wide pool which extends 1.2 meters in depth. Surrounding sunbeds and the deck accommodates up to 75 guests.

Entry to the pool will cost Dhs200 per person, with Dhs100 redeemable on food and drink at Breeze. Thankfully, it will be adults-only through the day, and towels will be provided.

Birthday approaching soon; by night, the pool and decking will be available as a private-hire function space.

Yes, reservations are recommended. Please contact Club Vista Mare, Palm Jumeirah on 04 568 3000.
