If you’re a Pikachu fan with a love for aircrafts, today could be your lucky day as we bring you news of the novel Pikachu-themed Scoot plane. Launched by The Pokemon Company, the aircraft is christened ‘Pikachu Jet TR’ and is ready to take patrons on a flight of a lifetime!Introduced in association with Scoot, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner comes with themed inflight amenities and matching merchandise. The plane features a total capacity of 375 seats and will provide guests with a host of interesting goodies.
In particular, these will include inflight amenities with cheerful Pokemon designs well as original merchandise such as tote bags, lanyards, bucket hats, and a collector’s edition of the aircraft model with the special livery.
Further, guests will be able to book specially curated Japanese inflight meals such as succulent chicken yakitori or fragrant ginger teriyaki chicken with rice in advance. Those with a sweet tooth can also enjoy a box of cookies presented in an original Pokemon box.
The ‘Pikachu Jet TR’ will take its first flight on 9 September 2022 to Tokyo, Japan. Further, the flights will depart bi-monthly from Changi Airport to Tokyo (Narita) and Seoul (with fare prices for one-way tickets starting from $333 for a trip to Tokyo and $231 for a trip to Seoul) and can be booked via Scoot’s official website.
